While running a successful barber school, visionary barber and stylist Franco Cipriotti saw the future in ladies hairdressing.
He transformed his barber school, State Beauty, into a beauty culture school called Maison de Paris, which was the first cosmetology school in the state of New Jersey. In 1965 Franco’s daughter Anna took over the school from her father. The school continued its success and had outgrown the space devoted to it. With the continual growth across the span of the 3 generations, the school has moved from its origins in Philadelphia, and now resides in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Anna's husband, Sal Rizzieri joined the business, and began expanding by opening up their first salon, House of Capri. House of Capri was located in Runnemede, New Jersey. Many of Rizzieri's talented staff today started at that very salon.
