Keep Winter Fired Up with These Hot Hair Colors

Now that we’re knee deep into fall, winter is just right around the corner with the cold weather and busy holidays. It’s a time when you get caught up thinking about others, shopping for others, and taking care of others. Taking time and treating yourself to a little indulgence is good for the soul – so why not think of spending a relaxing afternoon at Rizzieri Salon and treat yourself to new hair color.

Our hair colorists have put together some of the hottest hair colors we’re seeing this season to help you decide on a new look.

Highlighted Bronde. Bronde is that gorgeous color that lives between blonde and brunette. It’s not too light, giving it the appropriate deepness for winter, but not too dark so that your hair stands out just the right amount. Add some face-framing buttery or golden highlights to show off what’s left of your summer tan on top of a bronde base. This is a low-maintenance hair color and will let your highlights fade naturally so you always look put-together until you can get into the salon again.

Mushroom Blonde. Whether you want to darken your blonde base for winter or lighten your brunette base up a bit, this multi-tonal color enjoys hints of light ash-brown and a subtle dusty gray dispersed throughout a dark blonde base. It gives the vibes of a great earthy tone that will complement your fall and winter wardrobe. 

Caramel Melt. This balayage combo melts caramel or toffee highlights seamlessly into a full-bodied chocolate base. This is the perfect way to warm up your complexion during the winter while showing off gorgeous sun-kissed highlights all year long with low maintenance.

Opulent Chestnut. Blending honey-roasted chestnut with warm honey-blonde balayage highlights is quickly becoming a favorite for the winter season. It’s the perfect mix of light and dark working together to give a warm combination during the cold season. When spring comes, it’ll be easy to add lighter tones to the chestnut base to get back to those long beach days of summer.

Stunning Copper. Copper has been hot for a while now and there’s no end in sight. Start with a warm copper base and make it shimmer with a golden gloss. The result is a radiant shine that will make heads turn. 

Multidimensional Scarlet Red. Red never goes out of style but it seems to be a favorite of fall when it complements the beautiful changing of the leaves and goes through the end of the year to keep the fire burning all year long. Ask your Rizzieri stylist about using subtle black undertones with a deep scarlet red all-over color. There’s nothing orange or brassy about this combo and the black undertones will really make the scarlet stand out.

Cinnamon Delight. For another red hair color favorite, try this ombre effect starting with rich cinnamon at the roots that blend and grow fainter into strawberry blonde at the roots. It’s the perfect blend of light to dark while never leaving your red base.

Rich Red with Brunette Undertones. Keep your brunette base this winter but have some fun adding in some stunning red undertones this winter. Your stylist can help you choose from a blend of mahogany, crimson, burgundy, and maroon to give you a multi-dimensional look with high-definition color.

Denim Blue. We’ve seen a lot of blues this year but this season, we’re seeing it darken a bit with a denim blue with a hint of smoky grey to tone it down for winter. This is a great color to personalize by adding some highlights or lowlights – or even asking your colorist for a beautiful ombre effect from the roots to the tips to make this color all your own.

Raven Black with a Twist. If you love raven hair, try this twist with the addition of subtle charcoal grey highlights against the black base. The grey against black will give your hair a bluish hue that is quickly becoming a new seasonal favorite.
